to the interior. As historic architecture is the inspiration for the exteriors of
our homes, so also do our interiors reflect that tradition. The mouldings, cabinetry,
paneled walls, bookcases, mantles and stairways that we design for each of our homes
is considered on a case by case basis to assure its compatibility with the style
of home in which it will live. But just as important a consideration is the lifestyle
of the people who will inhabit the home, and so interior design is a collaborative
effort involving each client and our experienced design team
n order to maintain control
of design and quality of materials and workmanship, interiors are made in our own
shop by our own craftsmen, and so many fine woodworking details and quality cabinetry
not available elsewhere are readily attainable with our company. We make our own
kitchen and bath cabinetry borrowing details from antique cabinet profiles, combined
with modern conveniences and amenities. Cabinetry is pre-finished at our factory.
e make entire paneled
fireplace walls and wainscotings shipped in pre-built pieces for easy and accurate
assembly at the jobsite, and our design and finish team will make pre-built bookcases
and other built- ins as custom pieces.
e make all our own
stairs the old fashioned way; glued and wedged treads and risers, with authentic
rail and balusters.
ur interior packages
include pre cut window and door trim of select poplar that arrives bundled and labeled
for each door or window, and we pre cut baseboard and ceiling crown mould as specified.
ide Eastern White pine
flooring with square head nails provided is the most common wood flooring of choice
for most of our customers, but we offer other options as well.
nterior doors are four-panel
or six-panel pre-hung doors, or custom primitive plank doors, all with appropriate
hardware.

customers, is treated with proper sensitivity to historic authenticity blended with
the individual needs and desires of each client. Our interior design team excels
in balancing these important requirements.
